Starting therapy can feel a lot like going on a hike. You might not know where the path leads but you do not have to travel it alone. As a therapist, I believe everyone deserves to have a space where they can feel understood, supported -without judgement. My philosophy is rooted in a trauma-informed care, anti-oppressive and strengths-based lens.

I believe that every person carries the weight of not only their present and childhood experiences but also their inner resources to heal and grow. This perspective shapes how I practice therapy. I approach each client with gentle curiosity, empathy and a respect for their resiliency.

I have been practicing as a clinical social worker for over 10 years. I am also a professor of social service work who teaches mental health, psychology, and counselling courses. I specialize in supporting clients who have experienced trauma, are struggling to manage emotions, and are trying to navigate the many stressors and transitions of life.

I want my clients to feel empowered, safe, heard, and understood. If your ready to start your journey towards healing and self-discovery, reach out today. I am here to walk alongside you.
